Lindsay Lohan will be appearing at The Grove’s Nordstrom in Los Angeles this Monday from 6 to 8pm.
She is stepping into the public arena to push her leggings line, 6126. Lohan named her legging line after Marilyn Monroe’s birthdate — ie 6/1/26. Her leggings have such details as zippers, knee pads, glitter and animal print designs. Price point is $70 – $130.

At Los Angeles Spring 2009 Fashion Week at Smashbox studios, a place where attendees dress to impress, we spotted many fashionistas in 6126 leggings — making it apparent to us that Lohan’s line is on the rise. Whitney Baderian, pictured left, told us why she is a fan of the figure revealing pants: “I bought them because they are thick and hold everything in to make your legs look really firm, I like the detailing, like the zipper, and I am really into gray right now.”
Baderian is onto something — the leggings are, believe it or not, figure flattering. You just have to know how to wear them for your body type. Here’s a quick guide:
Pear: Try a dark pair of leggings with a bright bold top that’s either a v-neck or has some sort of detailing on top to help balance the look out. You might even consider a fashion belt cinched over the smallest part of your waist to help get that ideal hourglass look.
Hourglass: You are born to wear leggings. If you don’t have a pair, by all means go buy a pair! It’s the perfect trend to show off your figure.
Ruler: You have great legs that will look amazing in these leggings, but you need to make sure to pair them with a top that gives the illusion of curves — a scooped or vneck shirt with a jacket that flares out from your hips, helps to make that illusion.
Apple: Wear leggings with a loose top — think trapezie style or a long loose graphic t-shirt to add length to your torso and draw attention away from your midsection and to your great legs and chest area.
