Rumors were rampant at the end of 2008 that Madonna had acquired a 22 year old boy toy named Jesus Luz. Jesus is a Brazillian model who is featured with Madonna in the March 2009 issue of W Magazine — and really it’s like the entire magazine — a 46 page pictorial!
The shoot took place in Rio with veteran photographer Steven Meisel.

Madonna with model / boy toy Jesus Luz.
The pictorial includes shots of Luz and Madonna making out on a bed, practically nude, sweaty…you get the picture. It’s hot and steamy and we can’t wait for the magazine to hit stands so everyone can see for themselves what the camera reveals about these two. The shoot took place several months ago ofcourse, and immediately after the rumors started about these two continuing with the sexy photoshoot vibe after cameras stopped clicking. We here at SSD say go Madonna!
And while we will overlook the fact that Jesus has a tattoo of his name sprawled across his back (Isn’t that a little much!?! A little too self indulgent!?! Thoughts? Feel feel to comment below), we will also congratulate him for his recent success.
Since Jesus hit the gossip mill for Madonna, his model rate has jumped from $225 to $100,000 plus for a photoshoot.

Katy Perry, nominated for Best Female Pop Performance, arrives for the 51st Annual Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 8, 2009.
Sunday February 8, 2009: The fashions on the red carpet for the 2009 Grammy’s were more tame than in prior years.
Our favorite Grammy red carpet fashionista is Katy Perry, pictured above, whose outfit captures both the girly girl and sex vixen vibe that we love from her fashion and music style — Perry’s dress is by Basil Soda, shoes from Christian Louboutin, bracelets and ring by H. Stern and earrings from Jacob & Co.
Paul Adbul‘s yellow long dress is sure to be on E!’s Fashion Police this upcoming week with the hosts saying some biting comments and I’m predicting cattiness! Abdul’s dress, ironically, is also by the same designer as Perry’s — Basil Soda. Our thoughts on this yellow dress and other red carpet style choices can be found in our Grammy 2009 Red Carpet slideshow below.
Yes it is possible to get designer jeans for way under $50! And here’s now…
February 5 through February 16, 2009 marks Barney’s bi-annual west coast warehouse sale.
February 12 through Sunday March 1, 2009 is Barney’s bi-annual east coast warehouse sale.
Items can start at up to 75% off. And better yet, prices are progressively marked down as the sale progresses.
Warning: You can’t count on private dressing rooms at warehouse sales. So you either forgo your shyness and try on clothes in front of everyone or make sure to wear something tight so you can try on clothes over it. And cash is always easier — helps speed up the line wait and lets you pick up items faster.

Official word is not out whether “PROJECT RUNWAY” Season 6 will be put back on the television schedule but word has hit that Bravo’s latest creation called “THE SEW OFF” (Working Title) hopes to give fans their dose of watching up and coming fashionistas battle it out to be the next “it” designer.
The Sew Off will feature 10 established designers who will be paired with well-known individuals who are highly regarded in their own field of expertise (i.e; architect, interior designer, fashion editor, model, actor, photographer). Each week, the teams will create garments and ultimately the winner will be determined and will see their line manufactured and sold.
The show’s producers are now scouting for resident judges.
It’s looking more and more like Sex And The City 2 will be getting underway soon.
All four of our favorite ladies, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon have reportedly closed their deals with New Line, paving the way for our obsession with these ladies, and their fashions, to continue.
Hollywood Reporter reports that writer-director Michael Patrick King has also closed his deal with the studio and that there will be definite surprises in the sequel. Hmmmm…. perhaps they take a cue from Parker’s real life and throw a kink into the married happily ever after situation.
We here at SSD are excited to see the ladies reunite again and what Academy Award winning costume designer and fashion guru Patricia Fields has in store for us next.
The original movie made $400 million worldwide last year, not to mention it undoutedly helped the sales of such items as tutos, feather headbands…oh and ofcourse manolo blahniks.
Take a look at just a few of the Sex And The City fashion looks below.
