Looking for an apron that’s a little more daring to spice up your day?  Well let us introduce you to Helen Pham, who is the adorable owner and main designer of Simply Savvy Aprons.

The goal for Simply Savvy Aprons is to help women feel confident and sexy, especially when wearing an apron.  Her aprons have fun names like “Simply Sweet” and “Dessert TIme” and are affordably priced at around $30.  She creates aprons for all needs —  from cooks to hair stylists.  One of Pham’s mottos which we love is “chic aprons for the stylist and stylish.”

I interviewed Pham for our Style Seen Daily "Behind The Seams" beat.

Q: Why did you decide to focus on aprons?

Helen Pham: I decided to focus on aprons because aprons are daily essentials to many industries. As an artist myself, I frequently use aprons. However, unfortunately there are not many chic stylish aprons available. For this reason, I decided to design my own line; ones that I see myself wearing. Because aprons are used in so many different settings, they can be quite fun to design contextually. The styles can range from simple to completely off the wall eccentric and it would be acceptable.

Q: Your aprons are very sexy, why was that element important to you?

Helen Pham: This element is important to me because I feel that women are happy and feel good about themselves when they feel sexy.  As stated in my mission statement ‘Design to enhance the quality of life for women by promoting elegance, class and sexiness in their everyday work and life experiences.’  With this in mind, I try to implement a sense of classiness and sexiness in all my designs.

Q: What’s next for your line?

Helen Pham: My next line would be to design other useful daily chic essentials that encompasses the same ideas. I try to keep these ideas confidential until they have actually been produced because I would like them to be unique to our company.

The high end salon ManeTain Beauty Boutique in Del Mar, California is one of the salons where you can spot stylists donning Pham’s aprons.

But whether you are working at a salon or making dinner for that special someone,  wearing these flirty aprons puts an extra spring in your step and smiles on faces all around.
