Nothing is more chic than the timeless Little Black Dress. We like to think of the LBD as a blank canvas. Paired with the right shoes a LBD can make you look like a vixen. Throw a blazer over a LBD and it’s instantly office appropriate.  New Los Angeles based label Capretta Couture took the little black dress and meshed it together with sheer polka dots to create this stunning and sexy black mini. Aside from the phenomenal fit, the dress is edgy but still very feminine; so chic that it requires little to no accessories.

Braids are back!  Forget the feathers.  Time to tie up your hair in a few funky braid styles.   Oftentimes it’s easier to braid your friend’s hair than your own.  And the NineZeroOne Salon located in West Hollywood, CA has the perfect solution for you to keep your own braids beautiful. The ladies of NineZeroOne Salon have launched the “Braid Bar.”  Like the blow out bars popping up all over, the braid bar stems from the very same idea.  You can walk in, pick one of the four signature braid styles they have created and made available for this service, and in 15 to 20 minutes you’ll be leaving with the best braid in town.  All this, for $25.  And the great thing about braids is not only are they versatile — then can take you from the beach to a red carpet — but they also can last for days.   One look NineZeroOne Salon has is called the “Venice Hippy” and it consists of a side braid and a fish tail down, Check out this feature on NineZeroOne that highlights this look.

High end denim can often pose the debate of fashion vs. function. Premium denim may fit like a glove, but that doesn’t necessarily guarantee comfort. Entertainment Tonight Host Samantha Harris is finally putting an end to uncomfortable denim, without sacrificing an amazing fit. In her quest to create the most “flexible” jean for women Samantha Harris and iconic denim company, DL1961 Premium Denim,  are announcing a new collaboration.

DL1961 Premium Denim will launch a new signature jean titled the “Samantha” as part of their fall 2011 collection. After years of struggling to find the perfect jean, Harris discovered DL1961’s coveted maternity jean while recently pregnant with her second child. With a design idea in mind, Harris was even further inspired by the brand’s signature 4-way stretch fabric and their perfect fit, and was determined to create the jean she’d always searched for. With a true hands-on approach Harris and DL1961 reworked the fit of the traditional waistband, inseam and back pocket placement resulting in a clean and universally flattering garment that is effortlessly chic and impeccably polished.

“I am ecstatic to collaborate with DL1961 on a new concept for a stylish, sleek yet comfortably fitting jean. This new fit of jeans is something that I have wanted to do and upon meeting DL1961 I have now finally acted on it. The synergy between my idea and DL1961′s expertise and already fabulous cut is perfect. I can’t wait to wear them all day and night!”, says Harris to Style Seen Daily.

This product will retail for $168, will be available at fine department and specialty retailers and online at www.dl1961.com
