Gwen kept the rest of the outfit simple, which is always appropriate when wearing a lot of pattern, with a solid black undershirt and black peep-toe booties. Stefani who is known for her red lips also had bright, red nail polish that matched the stripes in the suit. She accessorized with a pendant necklace and cat-eye sunglasses. Spotted!: “X-Factor” judge and singer Nicole Scherzinger attended the X-Factor’s first season finale in Los Angeles on December 22, 2011. She gave the look an edge by adding a leather jacket, a croc print bag and platform booties with over-sized buckles. The Holidays are always marketed as a bright happy time, but the fact of the matter is that with all lightness there is darkness and with all happy holidays there are sad ones. Usually over the holidays people are drawn to films like Hugo, Sherlock Holmes or The Muppets – all of which I have seen and are terrific – but this holiday in my down time I attended a screening of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. It was nothing like what I expected, of course I knew Daniel Craig would give an excellent performance, same with Alexander Skarsgard’s dad Stellan, brilliant character actor. But it was Rooney Mara who stole the screen, she was captivating and as we were all unable to keep our eyes off of her or to prevent ourselves from falling in love with her, we cheered her on for doing some dark things that you would never dare do yourself.
