Crossroads: Gourmet Vegan

Founder of Crossroads Chef Tal Ronnen, along with partners Parnell Delcham and Jennifer Delcham (co-founders of United Culinary Artists), have created what is possibly the most innovative healthy food to hit the Los Angeles market in decades. Regardless if you’re a meat eater or not, Crossroads restaurant is a must. Start with some lentil “bread,” “oysters” made from artichoke, quinoa vodka cocktails and “crab cakes,” you will love it all, everything is delicious.

Tal, who is also author of The New York Times Bestseller “The Conscious Cook,” became known nationwide as the chef who prepared the meals for Oprah Winfrey’s 21-day cleanse. He continued being talked about after catering Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi’s wedding, Arianna Huffington’s party at the Democratic National Convention, and a U.S. Senate dinner. A graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute, Tal conducts master vegetarian workshops for students and staff at Le Cordon Bleu campuses nationwide.  He is currently the consulting chef of LYFE Kitchen in Palo Alto, California, and a collaborating chef at The Wynn and Encore hotels in Las Vegas.

Executive Chef Scot Jones oversees daily food operations and is a Hyde Park Culinary Institute of America graduate with more than 20 years of experience cooking Mediterranean and vegan cuisine. Jones is joined by Master Vegan Baker Serafina Magnussen, also co-author of Chef Tal’s Conscious Cook dessert recipes.  Serafina also ran her own catering and food delivery service, Gourmet Garden Cuisine, providing sweets and delicious cuisine for the greater Los Angeles area where she specialized in meeting the various dietary needs of her clients, including vegan, soy-free, grain-free, gluten-free. Serafina continues as Lead Pastry Chef Consultant to LYFE Kitchen.
