“I believe in the work that we do, because of the programs we offer, Dress for Success helps clients go from surviving to thriving! Now that’s beautiful,” Reena De Asis, Director of West Coast Operations, shared. Dress for Success promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
Dress for Success partnered with Style Seen Daily, as a united front we will help to raise funds, and awareness for this amazing organization helping women shine.
We are hosted our “Digital Beauties” event to benefit Dress for Success to engage and interact with the women of all things digital beauty who collectively have built and reach an audience of more than 6 million loyal fans each day across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
Working with women to help empower them to feel and look beautiful is an amazing thing to do and really does work. SSD did hundreds of television make overs for real life deserving woman, mostly Moms, including a series for KTLA called “Stranger Change Her” and saw first hand what a difference a one day style session can make. By helping a women with her overall appearance and giving her the right tools to dress herself, apply make up, and style hair leads to a positive transformational process from the inside and out. You see a power shift inside of them, as they start to embrace themselves again, they glow from the inside out. These women’s eyes start to shine with a dose of new found confidence. And confidence is really what it’s all about when you are heading out to land a job, meet new connections, make a name for yourself.
