Style Seen Daily + Idea To Screen Digital Beauty Event

Style Seen Daily partnered with Idea To Screen for its first “Digital Beauty” panel + product demos + networking event held at Ignited Spaces, Hollywood, where more than 100 people attended, benefitting Dress For Success.

I had a great time moderating the panel with an impressive digital social media reach  —  the women speakers collectively reach more than 10 million daily online followers! Our digital beauty star panelists  included creators Weylie, Missy Lynn, Evelina Barry, ColouredBeautiful, Jen Chae and digital executives Vanessa Del Muro, StyleHaul (11 billion, that’s “B”,  network views and counting) and Jennifer Smith, Addition +.

VIP guests included: Damone Roberts, owns salons in Beverly Hills and New York, clients include Madonna, Beyonce; Gamilla Smith, costume designer and celebrity stylist, clients include Steven Spielberg, Samuel L. Jackson; Jeffrey Paul, celebrity make up artist and hair artist, clients include Eva Mendes, Elle McPherson; Jenna Phillips, total wellness philosopher, clients include Ben Stiller, Nicole Kidman; Princess Pilar, first to use #armcandy on instagram to launch her multimillion dollar jewelry company, celebrity supporters include Christina Milan, Tyga.

Gift bags galore!

Guests learned about Milani cosmetics and received lots of make up goodies!

Arbonne representatives gave product demos and gifted $100 facial certificates!

“We brought together the beauty creator influencers to share their stories on how they built their brands and use digital to inform and educate a global audience to provide unique insight to our community,” said David Beebe, Idea To Screen founder.

On beauty tips:
“Orange is the new red lip,”  shared ColouredBeautiful.  “Your skin is the foundation of your look, make sure to wash your face and focus on clean skin,” stated Jen Chae.

Developing your online voice notes:
“You have to be yourself, you use own voice when creating content,” stated Weylie. “Draw a boundary on how much you want to share in your life,” said Vanessa, who also shared that creators need to have 30,000 views a month to be considered in their portfolio as a thriving channel.

Producing content insight:
Missy Lynn shared, “Invest in yourself, put in the hours,” who started her online profession while juggling a full time job and being in the military and lived on very few hours of sleep.  Evelina Barry stressed the importance of creating a strong thumbnail for your video, “I edit my thumbnails as the actual size to see what really works, if you edit the thumbnail as a larger size it won’t pop as well.”

After the panel, a raffle included 20 give aways and all guests were treated to a slew of gift bags, products provided by Arbonne, Damone Roberts, I AM, Jordana, Milani, Physicians Formula, Skin Again, Racinne, Wet N’ Wild.  VIP guests received special gift bags, value $750.00.

Dress for Success donation drive.

A donation drive for Dress for Success accepted gently used purses, shoes and jewelry. “Use soft hands to give back to those who have fallen on hard times,” shared Reena De Asis, DFS Director of West Coast Operations.
