From fashion to food, celebrities to scenery, the Le Book Presents Connections Los Angeles trade show event brought out photographs of all types and artist agents from all over the country to show off their art and artists. It truly was a work of art as Style Seen Daily caught up with forty-four agencies from the creative community, and checked out their booths with books and iPads displaying their photographers’ work at the Milk Hangar in Hollywood.

Heather Elder and her partner Lauranne LoSpaulluto, of San Francisco’s Heather Elder Represents, showed off the artwork of some of her photographers like Andy Anderson, David Martinez, and Kevin Twomy. This was Elder’s first time at the Le Book event and she thought it was wonderful. “We are making personal connections with people in this setting,” Elder said of her experience at the trade show.

The point of the show is for the companies to get their name out in the creative community, meet vendors to get their artists’ hired for events and shoots, and even get some artwork sold at the event.

In speaking with Julie Thompson of Anderson Hopkins about some of the photographers and directors her company represents, SSD was shown so many different types of photographs. They represent artists that shoot fashion like Catherine Wessel, cars, still life, lifestyle, celebrities, and more. This world is so diverse in it’s creativity and it truly is beautiful.

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer arrives for the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, in Los Angeles. Anna's on trend with the gold and black pairing. Alexander McQueen dress.

The 62nd Primetime EMMY Awards Show hosted by the amazingly talented and funny host Jimmy Fallon brought Hollywood out in full force.  And while Fallon did a great job entertaining the crowd with his guitar, we here at Style Seen Daily couldn’t help but notice the trend in up do fashions, highlighting the neck.  Celebrities like Anna Paquin, Christina Hendricks, Heidi Klum and more all rocked the red carpet with their hair pulled back.

How To Get Anna Paquin’s Hairstyle

When it came to creating an Emmys hairstyle for Anna Paquin, stylist Renato Campora knew just where to look for inspiration: her Alexander McQueen gown. “The dress is very strong, and I wanted to show off her shoulders and neck,” he explains. “I didn’t want her hair to seem too severe, so I created a loose structure.”

First, Renato worked the lightweight Frédéric Fekkai Full Volume Mousse through Anna’s damp hair. To keep her hair smooth and prevent flyaways, he worked in Fekkai Silky Straight Smooth Finish serum before blow-drying hair. Try Frédéric Fekkai Coiff Contrôle – Ironless Straightening Balm and instead of using a brush, use your fingers.

When Anna’s hair was dry, Renato used a curling iron with a ½-inch barrel to create waves, then pinned the hair to let the curls set for 15 minutes. Then, he ran his fingers through the underside of her hair, pulled her hair back and created a French twist. He created a bit of volume at the top of Anna’s hair by gently pushing it with his hands, then securing it with bobby pins. Finally, he sprayed hair with Frédéric Fekkai Coiff Fini – Sheer Hold Hairspray. “It’s a modern, soft look,” Renato says.

Jessalyn Gilsig of 'Glee' arrives at the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, in Los Angeles. You can never go wrong with a red dress on the red carpet.

Betty White arrives at the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, in Los Angeles. Thumbs up to Betty for dressing age appropriate and still on trend with white looking chic and elegant, perfect for an awards show.

Christina Hendricks arrives for the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, in Los Angeles. La La Lavander!

Heidi Klum and Seal arrive at the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, in Los Angeles. Our favorite red carpet couple by far, these two can truly do no wrong.

Sandra Bullock with Scarlett Johansoon on stage at 2010 MTV Movie Awards.

Sandra Bullock shined as she accepted the Generation Award at MTV Movie Awards 2010 in Los Angeles, California.   The Oscar winner is the first woman to receive the honor.  Congrats Sandra!

Looking stunning in a short black Oday Chakar dress, Bullock locked lips with Scarlett Johansson on stage and made jokes about her soon to be ex-husband.

Bullock’s Oday Chakar dress with a plunging back encouraged Betty White to tell her, “don’t ever wear that dress backwards!”

The night was filled with good laughs and hot styles.

Sequins, minis, neon colors and glitter filled the red carpet. Stars like Whitney Port, Anna Kendrick, Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Biel, and Miranda Cosgrove stepped out in true fashion forward style, perfect for this nontraditional award show, in bright colors and eye-catching heels. And the guys weren’t too shabby either, Russell Brand, Zac Efron and Peter Facinelli came wearing trendy vests, stylish jeans and hip shoes.

Have a look at some of our favorite outfits and not so favorite from the eventful night.

The 17-year old actress Victoria Justice was pretty in pink. She lit up the red carpet with a BCBG Maz Azria one-shoulder patterned dress with a pair of nude heels. This starlet may be young, but this fashionista caught our eye.

Lucy Hale from the upcoming new ABC Family Show, “Pretty Little Liars” wore a sparkly navy cocktail dress with beige accents designed by Touy. With her hair pulled to one side, we got a look at her edgy spiked necklace. She wore the form fitting dress with a pair of trendy black heels.

Country singer and Dancing With The Stars alum Julianne Hough came wearing a chic black peekaboo mini with sharp shoulders. A simple yet stunning look by Camilla + Marc Caraletta Frock looked amazing on Julianne. The mini is a great look for any summer time evening out, dress it up like Julianne with a pair of black pumps.

Kristin Stewart may have taken home the award for Best Female Performance and Best Kiss, but her outfit was not one of our favorites. The gold and metallic Dolce & Gabbana mini was a great length for this Twilight star. Although we found the straight across top was not so flattering. We did approve her her messy pulled pack ponytail, showing off her striking face. Simply by pulling your hair back like Kristin can show off any bold outfit.

The Hills star Audrina Patridge was very dazzled up for the awards. Wearing a metallic backless mini she was definitely able to be seen that night. She even wore studded silver and black heels to add to her bling-out outfit. We thought the outfit was a little too much for this reality star.
