Fans are always waiting outside for their favorite celebrities, and often times they get photos and autographs, but today, Lady Gaga who is staying at Andre Balazs famed Chateau Marmont this week, while in town shooting Glee, not only left her fans - which she of course calls Little Monsters - a love letter and thank you to the LAPD, but also had 50 bags of McDonalds' to feed the troops who have been parked outside since she checked in. Gaga was spotted departing the Chateau, where our Anya Varda carefully selects who can pass and enter, and who cannot. We are sure she is working overtime with all of the Little Monsters trying to enter the coveted hotel to spot their favorite signer. Whatever your feelings on Gaga are, you have to admit, she is at the very least appreciative of her fans. Gaga has over 12 million followers on Twitter, and from the looks of it, @ladygaga seems to be the real tweeter, as she just posted two hours ago how she sent out her thanks at Chateau.

The Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood is an iconic hotel and is one of our favorite hangouts in the city, and when we travel to New York it is always a fun time staying at The Standard in the Highline, and often we will go for drinks around the corner at The Mercer - keeping with our passion for the Balazs hotels. Even back in Los Angeles The Standard downtown is the perfect place for drinks before or after a concert, which we love! We were excited when he opened in Miami and we lounged by the pool at The Standard there and looked forward to heading to Southampton this summer and enjoying cocktails at Sunset Beach.. BUT we never expected he would get wings!

GQis perhaps the most powerful men’s fashion magazine, so when their West Coast Editor Chris Huvane threw this year’s Men of The Year Party, many of Hollywood’s elite came out to celebrate. Chris hosted the party at the infamous Chateau Marmont, talented men honored on the cover issues included Obama, Leonardo DiCaprio, Mad Men’s Jon Hamm, and Michael Phelps.
