Spotted! George Clooney’s current main squeeze, Stacy Keibler, spotted in Zobha active-wear in Beverly Hills on December 2, 2011 leaving The Sports Club LA. The actress looked athletic yet stylish in her  straight leg capris that show off her gorgeous figure.

Stacy Keibler joined her beau George Clooney on the red carpet celebrating the premiere of his latest film wearing a grey Marchesa dress, Amrapali Earrings & A Le Vian Ring.  Keibler, who was once a professional wrestler with the World Championship Wrestling, then began an acting and modeling career.  She has appeared on the television series What About Brian, George Lopez, Chuck, How I Met Your Mother and October Road.  Keibler also placed third on Dancing with the Stars where the judge Bruno Tonioli nicknamed her “The Weapon of Mass Seduction” because of her long legs and great dancing skills.

Every day celebrities are being followed, especially on vacation, but our friend, Real Estate Mogul Michael Meldman, has created a haven where the media at least must be an invited guest or home owner to be anywhere near these A -listers, that is Discovery’s El Dorado in Los Cabos Mexico.

Meldman also has invested in some great projects of some oh small time Hollywood guys like George Clooney and Jerry Weintraub, so it is no surprise that year after year we see Clooney along with other home owners Rande Gerber, Cindy Crawford, Uber Agent Patrick Whitesell, Lauren Sanchez, Angelina Jolie‘s Manager Geyer Kosinski and Producer Scott Stuber, soaking the sun in at El Dorado.  The style there is bathing suit and beachwear, sunglasses and sundresses, all casual, all the time. And if you’re coming in from Los Angeles its only an hour flight, happy carry on only!

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren as well as Kid Rock and many others were rumored to ring in the New Year at “some fabulous hotel” but we know better, they were all at the private oceanfront homeowner’s member only community that Discovery Land Company created.  Entourage Producers Peter Sussman and Steve Levinson as well as hotelier Jason Pomeranc were also all laying pool side.

Everyone surely had more privacy than anywhere else, unless of course they were at another Discovery community.  Michael Meldman and his two sons Will and Hunter were as entertaining, generous and hospitable as ever this year, everyone certainly had a very Happy New Year.  Check out www.discoverylandco.com for more information on the communities for friends and family Meldman is continuing to create.

If you’re more interested in being tucked away from the city and closer to El Dorado, just steps away from Meldman’s oasis is The Marquis Los Cabos, its no Discovery property, but it is still a lovely escape from the day to day grind.

The exhibit was the first of its kind for Vanity Fair. Guests had the opportunity to view numerous VF covers, rare photos from the archives, and video playing on plasma televisions throughout the musem featuring behind the scenes footage from famous editorial photoshoots, including one with George Clooney.  And who can forget the infamous “Moore Demi Moore” cover.

This August 1991 Vanity Fair cover with a pregnant Demi Moore is one of the most highly regarded magazine covers of all time, and it is one of photographer Annie Leibovitz's best known works. This cover was very controversial at the time with critics saying it was obscene. This cover made pregnancy photos fashionable.

This cover is on display at LACMA or, as SSD discovered, you can purchase your own for just under $30 on ebay.

The party was a hot ticket, drawing out numerous celebrities, including Mischa Barton, Joan Collins, Rosario Dawson, Illeana Douglas, Minnie Driver, Brian Grazer, George Hamilton, Mandy Moore, and Rainn Wilson.  You can see what these celebs were wearing, and our SSD review, in the gallery below.

At the end of the evenings, invited guests received a Burberry gift bag that included a Vanity Fair Portraits Coffee Table book. 

The Los Angeles presentation, which is sponsored by Burberry, will be the only U.S. stop on the exhibition’s international tour.  The exhibit is open to the public and will go from October 26 to March.  For tickets visit www.lacma.org.
