Spotted!: Paula Patton was all glitz and glamour at the London premiere of “Mission: Impossible- Ghost Protocol” on December 13, 2011. The actress, who plays along side Tom Cruise in the film,  looked fabulous in a long-sleeved beaded Naeem Khan Fall 2011 RTW mini-dress that enlongated her toned legs.  She paired the dress with nude Christian Louboutin Lucifer Bow studded pumps and opted for bold, black nail polish instead of accessories. Spotted!: Reality star and fashion blogger Olivia Palermo presented the award for Emerging Talent at the British Fashion Awards  at the Savoy in London on November 28, 2011. She looked stunning in a Matthew Williamson Autumn Winter 2011 vintage feather-mini dress. (fashion note: vintage style dresses are hot on the red carpets!) Keira Knightly in Mary Katrantzou

One To Watch: Designer Mary Katrantzou, born in Athens, educated in the United States and currently a London resident is just under 30 years old, yet has already earned significant respect in the fashion scene – maybe her mother being an interior designer and her father having textile design background paved the way for her earlier than most.

Making a mark in the tough heeled market, Mary was still in college when she sold some of her print designs to the legendary Bill Blass and eventually her designs in school lead her to be nominated for the Harrods & L’Oreal Professional Award.

Following this success, she was supported by the British Fashion Council and showed her first collection in 2008. Shortly thereafter in 2010 she did a collection for TopShop and won the Swiss Textiles Award, succeeding Alexander Wang who won the previous year.

Mary’s work is featured in Dazed & Confused, Grazia, Elle and Vogue and more recently has become a favorite of many well known fashionable girls in the London area, but expect to see more of her in the US shortly, if you have not already.

Guy Fawkes Night In London

I happen to love the Brits and despite the rumors of their gloomy weather, my experiences in London are always so special I end up saying I need to relocate there full time. A traditional culture, full of people who love a good celebration, this weekend was no different. On a last minute trip to the great city of Big Ben we were fortunate enough to arrive in time for the annual celebration which occurs every 5th of November, Guy Fakes or Bonfire Night, a celebration held in commemoration of the 1605 Gunpowder Plot by 13 young men, one of which was Guy Fawkes.

With Milan’s Milan Chamber of fashion’s recent announcement that their Spring 2013 fashion week dates are to be held on September 19-25 comes a declaration of fashion week war. New York Fashion Week, pushed back a week to September 13-20 due to Labor Day, London Fashion Week on schedule to begin the next day from September 21-25 and Paris to begin the next day.

This proclamation goes against a 2008 agreement made between the cities stating that New York begin on the second Thursday of September followed consecutively by London, Milan and Paris. Mario Boselli, head of the Milan’s Chamber of Fashion has publicly disagreed and claims that the agreement was only applicable for three years.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have certainly taught their children that sharing is caring. Shiloh Jolie-Pitt wore the soft Junk Food t shirt while leaving LAX with mama Angelina and sister Zahara. The tom-boy looked edgy but cute in her Junk Food Rolling Stones tee. Older brother Maddox is seen wearing the same Junk Food tee while leaving Shrek The Musical in London.  We think Maddox looks just as cute, whoops, we mean he rocks the shirt just as well.

Marion Cotillard at London Premiere of Public Enemies

Beautiful French Actress Marion Cotillard, who gained worldwide recognition and an Oscar last year, is stepping into her fame gracefully. Attending the London premiere of the much anticipated film Public Enemies where she co-stars with Johnny Depp and Eric Bana, Marion wore a bright red Vivienne Westwood satin strapless dress, oversized Stella McCartney handbag. At the films after party, which took place at London’s Home House, we asked the actress about her gorgeous shoes and she told us they were by Christian Dior, who she is a spokesperson for.

Both Johnny and Marion are scheduled to head to Paris next, where Marion is sure to make another elegant apperance on the red carpet.  Johnny, who seems to be getting more handsome with age, was dressed film themed appropriate, styled by Samantha McMillen, he signed autographs as he greeted fans for more than an hour.

Two photographs of Prince William and Kate Middleton have been released to mark their engagement, which was announced last month (Nov10). One photo is informal and one photo is formal.  The informal snap above was taken at Prince Charles’ main residence, Clarence House.  This photo shows the happy couple cuddling up and smiling as Middleton flashes her engagement ring.

The pair will marry at Westminster Abbey on 29 April, 2011 in London, England.
