Understated accessories makes any outfit red carpet ready.

Miley Cyrus accessorized her ravishing Roberto Cavalli gown at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards with large dangle earrings and an Elodie K. snake stud earring in black silver and diamonds with pink sapphire eyes, adding a fun and youthful touch to her look for the night.

Miley joins the growing group of fashionable starlets who have been spotted in Elodie K. recently, including Kelly Osbourne, Taryn Manning, Kelly Rowland, Samaire Armstrong, Lindsay Lohan and Demi Lovato. Since its spring 2011 launch, Elodie K. has created a line of diamond jewelry perfect for the young and style savvy with everything from earrings and rings to hand bracelets, body chains and head pieces. Elodie K. jewelry is available for purchase at Rose Ark in Los Angeles and Alchemist in Miami.

Elodie K. is a luxurious fine jewelry line created by French designer Elodie Khayat. Growing up in Paris, Elodies sensibilities are distinctively élégant and reflect an inherently féminine chic. Inspired by the bohemian spirit of the Mediterranean,  Elodie K.s délicate gold chains are designed to unmistakably highlight the hands, feet and body with the utmost subtlety. Adorned with diamonds snakes, lips or only gems the rose, white and yellow gold designs are both glamour and timeless.  Elodie K. jewelry is sophisticated in blending classic éléments, fine materials and artistry to create body fine jewellery that are at once extraordinarly wearable.

Miley Cyrus accessorized an everyday black, bubble dress with her favorite Elodie K. diamond pieces while shopping in Studio City. The young actress/singer stacked together her recently purchased Elodie K. rose gold plated, white diamond, and ruby knuckle snake ring, and her black silver, diamond, and ruby knuckle snake ring on her right middle finger. To finish the look, Miley added her Elodie K.black silver, white diamond, and ruby earrings (the same studs she wore with her Roberto Cavalli dress to the 2011 VMAs!).

The Hills girls and real-life BFFs Lauren Conrad and Lauren “Lo” Bosworth are out and about in one of the hottest trends of the season: lace.

Lo Bosworth attended the 8th Annual Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party in an Ivory lace top and high-waisted black pants. She took a classic look and made it trendy and fun. For Lo’s look, try American Apparel’s El Salvador Lace Tee in white or black, priced at $38. At that price, we recommend getting both colors. This shirt is so versatile, you can tuck it into a high waisted pant or skirt like Lo, or let it flow over light jeans with boots.

Another lacey trend hitting the streets and the runway: lace leggings and tights. Actresses like Megan Fox, Taylor Momsen, and Miley Cyrus have taken on the trend, and we love how ‘Teenage Dream’ singer Katy Perry mixes the edgy style with a conservative outfit to show off her personality.

You can beautify with lace as well. Just buy some lace at a fabric store and cut ten pieces out in the shape of your nails. Paint one layer of clear, white, or even a bright color nail polish and place the lace on top before it dries. Coat your nails with a clear or glittery top coat and your nails will wow all your friends.

Visionary Babakul designer Kym Gold.

Babakul, which means ‘hippie’ in French, is the brain child of designer Kym Gold, founded in 2008. The former co-owner and co-founder of True Religion Brand Jeans blended her glamorous and relaxed beach lifestyle to create the contemporary, sophisticted brand. The pieces in every collection are timeless and seasonless and have been spotted on celebrities like Jessica Alba, Miley Cyrus, and Cher.

The Malibu native, who was given the nickname ‘babakul’ by a business partner, has truly infused her lifestyle into the visionary styles seen in every Babakul collection. The brand embodies a lifestyle of travel, comfort, and attention-to-detail that every woman can relate to and find a piece that is all her own.

“Less is more is definitely the main inspiration behind the Fall 2010 collection,” Gold told us here at Style Seen Daily. The collection reflects a military and utilitarian style, with pieces like cargo pants, but infuses many romantic fabrics, like lace and silk, and feminine silhouettes.

Babakul's Spring 2011 collection embodies the classic Babakul bohemian look, yet introduces new styles with a more Moroccan feel. Photo Credit: MonicaRose.com.

The designer told us that her main inspiration is to bring “everything that I noticed was missing in the market and wanted to wear.”

Babakul clothing embodies designer Kym Gold's fun, independent, glamourous lifestyle.

Her pieces can easily be worn from day to night, with neutral colors and feminine silhouettes.  The versatile, classic pieces blend city sophistication with the bohemian lifestyle of Gold, which makes the collection ideal for women with a “fast-moving, independent lifestyle,” just like Kym Gold.   The Babakul Spring 2011 collection reflects many of the same styles seen in fall, but with a more Moroccan feel. The Traci cargo pant makes a comeback in an updated look.

'Traci' cargo pants are an essential part of the Fall 2010 Babakul Collection at $160.

Babakul’s take on the military trend comes comes to life with the ‘Traci’ cargo pant, available in slate and khaki for $160. These silk pants are lightweight and can easily transition from fall into a spring wardrobe. A silk blouse, like the ‘Gwendolyn’ by Babakul, can dress these pants up and create a more romantic look or pair them with the ‘Penelope’ cotton-cashmere kimono sleeve v-neck shirt for a casual, daytime look.

'Jessica' cashmere knit hood jumpsuit from the Babakul Fall 2010 collection, priced at $155.

Another big element of the Babakul fall collection is knits of all colors and styles. The ‘Jessica’ jumpsuit, priced at $155, is one  piece knit jumpsuit that is functional, yet fashionable, and a great wardrobe staple. Pair the jumpsuit with heels for a night out or with boots for a more casual, daytime look.

Casual, yet chic Babakul 'Penelope' cotton cashmere kimono sleeve v-neck shirt, which is priced at $115.

Babakul fashionistas can shop these hippie chic looks at stores like Fred Segal Fun, Ron Herman, and M. Frederic.

Soon customers will be able to take part in the full Babakul experience —  The brand is opening it’s very own store inside of Fred Segal in Santa Monica Place in November 2010. The store will reflect designer Kym Gold’s Malibu lifestyle and fully immerse shoppers into the Babakul independent and glamorous way of life.  We’ll make sure to bring coverage of that store opening to you here at Style Seen Daily.

Singer Justin Timberlake performs at Nickelodeon's 20th Annual Kids' Choice Awards Singer Justin Timberlake performs at Nickelodeon’s Annual Kids’ Choice Awards.

We here at Style Seen Daily have put together a slideshow of the red carpet looks from Nickelodeon’s 2009 Kids’ Choice Awards.

Loose flowing ruffles were popular among the starlets like Megan Fox and Miley Cyrus.  Super star Cameron Diaz and musician Pete Wentz went with a more relaxed Americana look.  And Victoria Justice rocked the deconstructed jacket over a purple short dress.

The looks on the Kids’ Choice carpet covered the gamet — from “Ugly Betty” star America Ferrera in a classic hollywood glamour look dressed  in a red dress to singer Colbie Caillot wearing a bright yellow day dress WITH flip flops!

Our SSD favorite item we spotted:  Megan Fox’s platform shoes that looked great with her lavender toe nail polish.  As for our SSD least favorite item:  Again we pick American Idol judge Paula Abdul (she was also our worst Grammy 2009 look, sorry Paula we’re just being straight up).  As you can see for yourself in our gallery below, Abdul just had too much going on with the accessories and it looks more like a costume then an actual look….
