Style Seen Daily friend and San Diego Chargers Linebacker Shaun Phillips co-hosted the “Modern Man” party for Angeleno Magazine at the rooftop pool of The Residences At W Hollywood.

Angeleno also asked four other “modern men” to host the event with Shaun, including Jesse Waits owner of Drai’s Hollywood, Pedro Marti wealth management advisor for Wells Fargo, Matt Petersen president of Global Green, and Tom Drumm from The Safran Company.

Shaun reveals that he dresses to match his beloved convertible Maserati.  ”Always,” he said. “I love my car.”  OMG I can’t even ask him what he has named his car… some things just better left unasked.  However I did ask Shaun about his suit and learned he had it custom made by Astor and Black.

Jesse Waits, owner of Drai’s Hollywood, said being being successful to him is “not about the money, but about being the best in the world at doing something different.”  (Note: As soon as Drai’s Hollywood opened it scored a scene in Entourage as the new “it” club.)

Party goers at the Angelino "Modern Man" event were able to watch the sunset and check out the Los Angeles skyline atop The Residences At W Hollywood while enjoying cocktails and appetizers.

Guest received freshly rolled cubano-style cigars by Mursuli Cigars in Temple City

Matt Peterson, Global Green CEO, wore a suit made out of organic wool and recycled audio cassette tapes — yes AUDIO tapes. Matt personally works with such celebrities as Leonardo DiCaprio, James Cameron, Jessica Alba and Eva Longoria to help raise awareness of being more green.  Matt said, “well you know when a celebrity steps up people pay attention so we’re doing all we can to use that opportunity to drive us in the right direction.”  IE being more green friendly.  Click here to learn more about Global Green.

Modern Luxury Marketing Coordinator Harmonie Krieger looking fab in a fun and flirty dress.

Tom Drumm, Talent Manager at The Safran Company, said that he advises men to find a girl with great style to help guide them to looking and feeling their best.  What a smart man.  Drumm said, “whatever (my girlfriends) say, I do.”  I mean, super genius smart, right?

The EC Twins.

Event sponsors included Don Julio Tequila (my favorite) and Johnnie Walker Scotch Whiskey.

Arizona Cardinals Foootball Star Matt Leinart made his NFL friends break out their check books at his 4th annual Bowling For Charity Event at Lucky Strike Lanes in Hollywood, California.  No joke.  He is so passionate about his charity, the Matt Leinart Foundation, that he got on a mic in the middle of the bowling lanes and started calling out names.  He wanted his friends to support his Los Angeles based football league for kids in need.  And immediately New Orleans Saints Player Reggie Bush is asking for a pen as he knows his good friend means business.  Then, Tennesse Titans Quarterback Vince Young quickly donates $5,000.

Next, it’s 24 year old Tennessee Titans star Chris Johnson‘s turn to get called out.  ”You’re gonna land a big contract,”  Leinart yelled half jokingly.  Johnson just won an ESPY Award the previous night for Breakthrough Athlete.

Leinhart thanked the packed house who came out to the bowling event and said that, “this year is the biggest yet.”   Two tickets to Superbowl 2011 were auctioned off for $8,000 in between bowling time.

I challenged Giants Player Ramses Barden to a round of bowling (yes that’s right, just a round, I’m too ADD for anything more than that).  And made him strike his best bowling pose…

And I learned an interesting fact, that I will for sure bring up next NFL season at a bar, maybe to start up in a conversation or something, I like fun facts.  Ok here it is….

Fun Fact: Ranses Baden is the tallest wide receiver in the NFL standing at 6 Foot 6 Inches.

Did you know that?   Yep, go ahead, you can take that and tweet it.

While superstar athletes and guests bowled, a silent auction was also happening to help raise money.

Diamond Importer Runal Shah, pictured here, designed this necklace for his Metal Noir Line. It's 160 carats of black diamonds worth at least $65,000. It's no secret that sport stars love the bling. Don't we all? (conflict free ofcourse) Photo Credit: Crystal Fambrini.

Live It Productions International put on the event for the foundation.  Live It Productions Owner Charlie Venturi told me the event was a big success because Matt has such a big heart and that, ” I have gone to Matt’s camp and it’s amazing to see the smiles on these kids.”  Charlie continues to say, “I can’t believe how excited they get when Matt gives them their own football.  It’s simply amazing.”

100 percent of the money raised at the event goes towards the Matt Leinhart Foundation, click here for more information.

Serena Williams hosts pre-ESPY party (in DVF dress) posing with sister Venus Williams. Serena took home Female Tennis Player of the year.

Saturday Night Live star Seth Meyers played host at the 2010 ESPY Awards in front of a packed house at the Nokia Live Theatre in Los Angeles, California filled with sports stars and their celebrity fans.  After the almost four hour awards show, athletes took off to various after parties around town, where they could let loose and catch up with friends from around the country. Four NFL superstars, and Style Seen Daily friends, Kansas City Chief Jarrad Page, Jacksonville Jaquar Marcedes Lewis, and Chargers Shaun Phillips and Stephen Cooper teamed up to throw a crazy after party at Hollywood hotspot Playhouse — where basketball super star, and this week’s top newsmaker, LeBron James, now heading to the Miami Heat, also had a table.

The parties were top of the class and so was these athlete’s style.  It’s not often that we get to see all these superstars outside of their team uniforms and dressed to kill, we like it and we want to see more.  These fit bodies look great in clothes!

Style Seen Daily has some of our favorite looks for you here.

Landon Donovan wins big with athlete of the year award.

American soccer player Landon Donovan who plays for the Los Angeles Galaxy won not only the most presigious award, Athlete of the Year, but also took home, Best Moment in Sports Award.  We liked his relaxed but sharp look — he forgo a tie and his shirt was unbottoned, yet his suit tailored perfect to his body.  Looking sharp.

Actor Mark Wahlberg looked pretty cute wearing shades at ESPY Awards.

Athletes weren’t the only ones at this special event, big stars also came together to celebrate with their favorite athletes, including Mark Wahlberg in his gray suit and silver/grey tie.

Football star Chris Johnson.

Young athlete Chris Johnson, 24,  running back  football player for the Tennessee Titans took home the great honor of Breakthrough Athlete.  We like how he broke the mold and rocked a leather jacket instead of a suit.  Nice!

Heart throb Zac Efron attended the show.

17 Again star Zac Efron, 22, was looking fine as ever, wearing a suit by Balenciaga. He’s breaking out of the High School Musical role and filling the shoes of a sexy young actor. His latest film, Charlie St. Cloud hits theaters July 30, 2010.

Skier Lindsey Von

Lindsey Vonn had her hands full of awards, she won Female Athlete of the Year and Female Olympian. She won a gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics, she has also won three consecutive World Cup Championships.  But she kept her style simple and classic — with a long monochrome dress in an on trend color, blue, that really stood out on the red carpet.  She looked stunning and approachable.

Twilight babe Ashley Greene.

Actress Ashley Greene was looking very sultry at the ESPY event. Wearing a fire red dress, that had a very sexy cut out back, this bloodsucking vampire sure spiced up the red carpet.  We like how Ashley matched her lips to the dress and kept the rest of her make up, hair and nails super natural.  When you are wearing such a hot color, it’s important to not go overboard.  Ashley balanced the look just right and looked, well, good enough to byte.

Since 1993, ESPN has come together to celebrate those favorite sports moments and the players by presenting the ESPY Coverage.
